Our Story: Welcome to Divine Word Christian Church
Founded in 2008, through God’s divine call, our Senior Pastor, Sathis Kumar, began ministering in the city of Kandana with a small but faithful congregation. By God’s grace, what started as a humble gathering has now grown into a vibrant church family, touching hundreds of lives across the region. Our ministry has expanded beyond Kandana to impact the Gampaha District and beyond, with branches established in Jaffna, Vavuniya, Israel, Cyprus, and many other places.
We have seen countless lives transformed through the power of the Word of God, with testimonies of healing, supernatural miracles, and spiritual breakthroughs. Our commitment remains to continue spreading the Gospel, uniting believers, and bringing hope and salvation to communities.

Today, he serves as one of the Lead Pastors at Divine Word Church Ministries, overseeing congregations in Sri Lanka, Cyprus, and Israel. He is known for his humility and deep commitment to spreading the divine word of God throughfaith.”
